Your Visit, Start to Finish

Walk in, no appointment needed
Bring Your Items
Just walk in during business hours — no appointment needed. Bring your gold or silver in any condition: broken chains, bent rings, inherited jewellery, estate pieces, coins, scrap, bullion, or silverware. Nothing is too small or too worn.
You'll need to bring a valid government-issued photo ID (driver's licence or passport). This is a Queensland legal requirement for all precious metal transactions — it protects both you and us.
Not sure what you have? That's perfectly fine. We identify and test everything for free. Many customers bring items they assumed were worthless and walk out pleasantly surprised.

Transparent testing, right in front of you
We Test & Weigh
This is where we earn your trust. Every test and measurement happens right in front of you — nothing goes behind the counter or out of sight. You watch every step.
We use an XRF (X-ray fluorescence) analyser — a non-destructive method that reads the exact metal composition in seconds. For verification, we may also use traditional acid testing. Both methods tell us the precise purity: 9ct, 14ct, 18ct, 22ct, or 24ct for gold; .925 or .999 for silver.
Your items are then weighed on certified digital scales. Here's the important part: condition doesn't affect the price. A broken 18ct chain is worth the same as a pristine 18ct chain — we're pricing the metal content, not the craftsmanship.

Cash or bank transfer, your choice
Get Paid on the Spot
Based on the live spot price, your item's purity, and its weight, we calculate a price right there. We explain exactly how we arrived at the number — no mystery, no hidden margins.
If you're happy with the offer, choose your payment: cash on the spot or instant bank transfer. Either way, you leave with your money. We provide a detailed receipt for every transaction.
If you're not happy? No problem. Take your items and walk away — no fees, no pressure, no obligation. Many of our best customers took time to compare before coming back. The entire process typically takes 15 to 30 minutes.
